
Upon arrival to Tangier you will met by your private English speaking driver.
Spend time exploring some the Kasbah and some of the sites of one of the most eclectic and northern most cities of Morcocco, once home to such literary greats as Tennessee Williams and William Burroughs and artists Matisse and Cecil Beaton.
After lunch head to Chefchauen, the ‘blue’city and known as one of the most relaxed and scenic towns in Morocco.
A relaxing dinner will be organised for you in your Hotel.
Day 2
CHEFCHAUEN
The blue and white washed city of Chefchauen offer a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. After breakfast choose to wander the souks; try the local goats cheese or browse the stalls showcasing native handicrafts, including beautiful hand woven woollen garments and blankets. Alternatively, you can choose to take a short trek into the Rif Mountains, go mountain biking or even opt for horse ride.
Tonight you can choose to dine in your Hotel or enjoy one of the local restaurants available.
Spend the day driving through the spectacular Rif Mountains and lush rolling hills of vineyards and olive groves before arriving in Fes.
Begin your time in Fes with a sunset ramparts tour including beautiful panoramic views of the Fes Medina from the Merinades will give you a great overview of this magnificent city.
A relaxing dinner will be organised for you in your Hotel.
Today gives you the opportunity to explore the medina of Fes with one of our certified guides. You’ll find traditional artisanal goods, rich carpets, pyramids of spices and succulent olives and dried fruits. Explore as quickly or as leisurely as you please. Some sights included in tour are the world’s oldest learning centre, The Kairaouine Mosque and University, Bou Inania, the Fondouk Nejjarine, the Zaouia of Moulay Idriss ll, the Medressa Attarine and the house of Maimonedes and the wonderful medina tanneries.
Day 4
FES – RABAT via Volubilis & Meknes
Today depart for Rabat via Volubilis & Meknes.
Spend time exploring the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. With its well preserved mosaics, palaces, baths and soaring arches it is considered one of Morocco’s most important archeological sites.
After Volubilis visit Meknes, one of the Imperial cities and once Capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail. Meknes has a wonderful charm and style, with beautiful gates, palaces and mosques, all enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
In the afternoon head for Rabat, Morocco’s capital city and currently home to the Royal family
Tonight you can choose to dine in your Hotel or enjoy one of the many restaurants available.
Spend a leisurely morning visiting the sites in Rabat, including a visit to the Chellah, spectacular Andalusia gardens of the Oudaya Kasbah and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
Depart Rabat and make your way back to Tangiers along the beautiful Atlantic coastline, stopping along the way for a succulent seafood lunch in the seaside village of Asiliah.
Arrive in Tangier early evening and choose to dine in your hotel or one of the many restaurants available.
Day 6
TANGIER
Your vehicle and driver are at your disposal for the morning and you can choose to visit some of the sites and monuments of Tangiers before being transfered you to your preferred mode of transport for your departure.
