Day 1 FEZ
Arrive Fez and check in to accommodation.
Day 2 FEZ – GUIDED MEDINA TOUR
Today gives you the opportunity to explore the medina of Fez with one of our certified guides. You’ll find traditional artisanal goods, rich carpets, pyramids of spices and succulent olives and dried fruits. Explore as quickly or as leisurely as you please. Some sights included in tour are the world’s oldest learning centre, The Kairaouine Mosque and University, Bou Inania, the Fondouk Nejjarine, the Zaouia of Moulay Idriss ll, the Medressa Attarine and the house of Maimonedes and the wonderful medina tanneries
When you are in Fez for a few days taking a guided tour is also a great way to learn how to navigate the medina so that you feel secure venturing out on your own at later points of your stay in Fez.
Finish the day with a ramparts tour including beautiful panoramic views of the Fez Medina from the Merinades will give you a great overview of this magnificent city. Highly recommend a sunset drink at the Merenids Hotel overlooking the entire Fez Medina.

Day 3 FEZ – DAY TRIP VOLUBILIS, MOULAY IDRISS and MEKNES
Enjoy a day trip to the ancient sites of Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknes.
Spend time exploring the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. With its well preserved mosaics, palaces, baths and soaring arches it is considered one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites.
After Volubilis move on to Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco’s most venerated Muslim sites and only recently opened to non- Muslims. It is said that for Moroccan’s who can’t afford the trip to Mecca, then to travel five times in one’s life to Moulay Idriss is of equal merit. The scenic village has lovely souks to explore and a number of panoramic views of Volubilis.
Finish the day with a visit to Meknes, one of the Imperial cities and once Capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail. Meknes has a wonderful charm and style, with beautiful gates, palaces and mosques, all enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Day 4 FEZ – DAY TRIP CHEFCHOAUEN
Chefchaouen is a relaxed and welcoming town known situated in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean Coastline. Known for its laidback atmosphere it’s a great place to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina, fantastic for photography or just taking some time out to chill out around the main square. Make sure you try the local goat’s cheese and check out the artisanal woollen products.

Day 5 FEZ –FREE DAY
Enjoy a free day to explore Fes on your own. Take time to do some shopping in the medina or why not wander into the Ville Nouveau and along the Hassan II Ave, famous for its fountains & Moroccan style Champs Elyse. You could try a Moroccan Hammam experience or we can also organise some other options such as traditional Moroccan cooking, drumming, henna tattooing, belly dancing & calligraphy.

Day 6 FEZ – MARRAKECH via middle Atlas Mountains
Depart Fez for Marrakech via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Encounter spectacular views and travel through the cedar forests, visit the Barbary Apes at Ifrane and tour through the Berber villages of this mountain region before arriving Marrakech.
Due to the lengthy drive we organise dinner on arrival at your Riad.

Day 7 MARRAKECH – Guided Tour
While Marrakech is alive with modern life and development, it is also home to a wealth of buildings, sites and artefacts of crucial importance to Moroccan history.
Your vehicle, driver and tour guide are at your disposal for the whole day. Some sights visited in the tour include the Koutoubia Minaret and gardens, Marjorelle Jardin, the Saadien Tombs, the El Badi and El Bahia Palaces and Dar Si Said.
You could also include some of the notable art Galleries of Marrakech including Qoubba Art Gallery, Matisse Art Gallery and the Museum of Moroccan Arts.

Day 8 MARRAKECH – FREE DAY
Some ideas may include exploring the many varied and splendid souks of Marrakesh offering an assortment of Moroccan products that range from elaborate and traditional thru to sleek modern designs, indulging in a Moroccan Hammam or just hanging out the square people watching.

Day 9 MARRAKECH – DAY TRIP IMLIL & JEBEL TOUBKAL
Today head to Toubkal national park where we organise a visit to the villages of Sidi Brahim and Imlil at the base of Jebel Toubkal with a Berber mountain guide. You can choose to go on foot or by mule to visit some of the stunning surrounding scenery & look at some of the working co-operatives, stopping for a traditional Moroccan lunch with a Berber family.
In the afternoon relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding scenery before returning to Marrakech.Meals: Breakfast

Day 10 MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA
A picturesque fishing town lying on the southwest coast of Morocco, Essaouira has an exquisite beach to the south and has become one of Morocco’s most popular coastal towns. Many of the countries wood carvers and artists make Essaouira their home.
The town has a lovely white washed medina and is particularly good for sourcing arts and crafts, most notably the woodcarvings famous as being one of the oldest artistic forms that has thrived in the town.
Your vehicle, driver and tour guide are at your disposal for the whole day.

Day 11 ESSAOUIRA – FREE DAY
Some ideas could be a meander through the Spice souk, wood carvers workshops and raffia crafts. Perhaps lunch at one of Essaouira’s best food experiences – the outdoor fish grills that line the port. Here you can choose what you want to eat from the colourful displays of fresh fish and seafood outside each grill, agree on a price and wait for it to be cooked on the spot.
At sunset the Skala De La Ville is just beautiful for picturesque sunset views followed by some great live music at the Riad Al Baraka.
If you feel like getting out of Essaouira the Argan Oil co-ops are close by or alternatively the surfing village of Sidi Kaouki is around 25km from Essaouira.

Day 12 ESSAOUIRA
Spend the morning at your leisure before departing late afternoon back to Marrakech.
You may like to spend some time at some of Essaouira’s Art Galleries most notably The Afalkay Art Gallery, Espace Othello Gallery, the Gallery Damgaard.
Your vehicle and driver at your disposal for the whole day and will transfer you back to Marrakech around 4pm.

Day 13 MARRAKECH – DEPART
Your driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
