1.Half day guided Medina Tour

Spend time exploring the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. With its well preserved mosaics, palaces, baths and soaring arches it is considered one of Morocco’s most important archeological sites.
After Volubilis move on to Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco’s most venerated Muslim sites and only recently opened to non- Muslims. It is said that for Moroccan’s who can’t afford the trip to Mecca, then to travel five times in one’s life to Moulay Idriss is of equal merit. The scenic village has lovely souks to explore and a number of panoramic views of Volubilis.
Finish the day with a visit to Meknes, one of the Imperial cities and once Capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail. Meknes has a wonderful charm and style, with beautiful gates, palaces and mosques, all enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
5. Meknes Wine and Olive Region
A tour of Meknes stunning vineyard Volubilia, nestled between the foothills of the Rif and the Middle Atlas mountains where Christoph and Phillipe fuse Bordeaux expertise together with the creative freedom they have in Morocco to produce the most delicious whites, rose and the Moroccan favorite “Gris”.
You will enjoy the unusual privilege of the winemaker himself driving you around the vineyard and then talking you through a tasting session which may even include a decoupage before your very eyes. This is an exciting opportunity for wine lovers to discover the “New Morocco”.

The Middle Atlas region offers many hidden delights including spectacular views of cedar and cork forests and delightful & hilarious Barbary apes. Enjoy the crystal air of the mountains while you discover the rustic Berber towns of Immouzer, Ifrane and Azrou.
Immouzer is particularly beautiful in spring with apple blossom and a lively place to be in July with the Pommes de Fete. Becoming increasingly known for cheese production it’s worth a stop at the Fromagerie du Immouzer to try some of the delicious styles.
Stop off at the popular picnic/camping springs of Ain Seban and Ain Chifa before heading to Ifrane.
The most distinguishable trait of Ifrane is its unusual Alpine architectural style and European style. Known as a mountain resort, provincial administrative centre and college town, Ifrane is a popular stop amongst both local and international tourists who enjoy snow sports in winter and escape from heat during the summer months.
Azrou is well known in the area for its green tiled roofs, beautiful cedar forests, cherry and apples trees, as well as the friendliness of its people .Each Tuesday there is a lively market in Azrou with a huge variety of goods on sale – both traditional and contemporary- a popular past time for tourists hunting for a bargain.

7. Sefrou & Bhalil
Once a major stopping point for traders heading from the Mediterranean to the Sahara passing through the Middle Atlas Mountians, Sefrou was a melting pot of culture as Jewish Berber Moroccans and Algerians had been settling there since the 13th century. The medina still has a charm much like that of Fez, and although much smaller it is still impressive.
Sefrou is famous for its cherry festival each year in June. During the festival, you might follow the people who venture just over the River Aggai to visit the Kef El-Mumen cave, which according to legend is the resting place of the prophet Daniel.
If you are looking for Moroccan handcrafts, then you might search the area just outside Bab Makame, where travelers are often given great prices for wares from the Cooperative Artisanal. You can also explore the place where Sidi Lahcen Ben Ahmed rests, who was a 17th century saint and the fountain of Lalla Rekia, which is supposed to contain holy water to cure mental illnesses.
Bhalil, a tranquil town is located at the foot of the Jebel Kandar, and offers visitors spectacular views of the town and the landscapes surrounding it. The town is also very religious and has numerous mosques, as well as Kasbahs, which are situated in ancient palaces and recommended sites to see. Bhalil also has friwatu cave dwellings that are still in use as homes and worth a visit.

9. Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen is a relaxed and welcoming town known situated in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean Coastline. Known for its laidback atmosphere it’s a great place to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina, fantastic for photography and one of the few places in Morocco that has an Octagonal minaret next to the Grand Mosque. Take some time out to chill out around the main square and visit the Place Mohammed Park which has wonderful views of the Rif Mountains in the background. Make sure you try the local goat’s cheese, famous in the region and check out the artisanal woollen products.

Taza province located to the north east of Fez is home to Jebel Tazzeka National Park, the medieval city of Taza and the largest underground cave network in North Africa, the Friouato Caves.
In the morning visit the Friouato Caves, locally known by their French name of Gouffre de Friouato. First explored in 1930 by French adventurer Norbet Casteret, the cave system is more than 150 feet deep and extends at least 3.8 km under the earth’s surface and home to some amazing stalactites and stalagmites.
The afternoon can be spent exploring Taza’s fortifications and medieval buildings. Set between the Rif and Middle Atlas mountain ranges, Taza served as a fort that overlooked the important Tizi n’ Touahar pass. You can see the old medina with its city walls and 16th-century bastion built under the Saadians.
Other architectural sights in the old city include the Great Mosque, started during the Almohads’ rule in the 12th century, and the Andalous Mosque.

11. Berber village of Ribat El Kheir
Around an hour to the North East of Fez and at the base of the Bou Iblane Mountain ranges in the Middle Atlas lays the Berber village of Ribat El Kheir. Apart from offering spectacular views of the country side a number of options are available for visitors to take part in workshops that showcase traditional methods of producing a number of items that are vital to the sustainability of the community.
